We are Martina 🐷 and Greg 🐓 and we’re planning a wedding! 👫

We met at our mutual friends Barbora’s going away party in Summer 2013. A year later when we were both single our friend invited us to try out a class at a spin studio she was opening. Martina asked Greg out and never lets him forget it. Martina forgot that they had previously met and Greg never lets her forget that. We took things pretty slowly to start; Martina was spending a lot of time in Europe on business and Greg was away running races. Finally around the holiday season we started spending more time together and have been inseparable ever since. ❤️

We call Olympic Village in Vancouver, BC home where we’re lucky to live near the seawall for runs out to the city beaches or into Stanley Park. Our apartment is also conveniently located to all the tasty Main Street area breweries. 🍻😍

By day, Martina leads a team of engineers at a medical device company which develops products that treat patients with brain aneurysms and Greg is part of a research team that helps to pilot and test new and innovative interventions in the employment services sector. 🤓🙌

We both love to travel the world so it only made sense to get engaged in a far off romantic land with easy access to plentiful carbohydrates and delicious wine – Italy!

What didn’t make so much sense was Greg’s crazy plan to track down Martina in Milan while she was there on business. After secretly contacting Martina’s work colleague and travel agent, Greg conspired a sneaky, cheeky little 18 hour trip to Northern Italy, where with the help of the hotel concierge who spoke little English, Martina was lured into the dark hotel basement and, surprise! Greg appeared out of the darkness and in broken Italian asked her to marry him. 💍😂
